DIY Bath Bombs

Using simple ingredients this bath bombs are easy to make and make a wonderful gift or a great spa night for you.  You can put these bath bombs in a pretty jar and give for birthday gift or any gift to someone who enjoys baths.

Ingredients 
  • 20 drops of your favorite essential oil
  • 1/2 cup citric acid
  • 3/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/4 cup Epsom salt
  • 10-15 drops of food coloring if desired
  • 1 cup of water
  • shifter
  • funnel
  • spray bottle 
  • 2 bowls 
  • ice cube tray, mold or ornament
  • spoons for mixing

First, in one mixing bowl; mix water and food coloring to get your desire color.  Now in your spray bottle use funnel to pour your color water into.  Next, in other bowl shifter your baking soda and corn starch.  Take citric acid and mix into your soda/acid mixture.   Take Epsom salt and add to dry ingredients and give a good mix.   Take spray bottle and spray 1-2 squirts to dry mixture and mix well, continue until the dry ingredients become damp but, not fizzy.  Take essential oil and mix into the damp mixture,  in ice cube tray pack your bomb mixture tightly into ice cube tray, mold, etc.  Let your bombs dry overnight or for 24 hours.  Pop bombs out and enjoy or gift them.  Finally, when ready to use place in a warm bath and wait until it fizzes and relax!
