These next few years, I pray I have the patience because I know being a teenager today is not easy. The world I am raising my son in, has many tugs and pulls in varies directions. I am constantly reminding myself and Andrew that God wants the very best for him, and he needs to be wise on his choices he makes in life. God is always there, and I am teaching my son to trust the Lord even when life is difficult. Andrew is reminded daily of the individuals he would like to be friends with and socialize as well. I tell him to ask himself, is his friends a person that has qualities of Jesus?
I pray that Andrew is examples to his peers as well just like Jesus. I pray that he is respectful to others and that they do the same in return.
I pray that I am a godly example and source of strength for my teen. I pray I will continue to love him unconditionly.
I hope that Andrew knows God gave him many gifts and that he needs to not be negative if things do not work out as plan. I will continue to be his biggest cheerleader in all that he accomplishes and fails at. Andrew is always Number 1 in my Book!
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, be an example for others in speech, life, love, faith and purity.
