3 Sweet Summer Teas | Summer Beverages

I love tea warm or cold and the summer is the time to sip on some great summer teas on a hot day.  I created 3 sweet summer teas for anyone's desire and perfect thirst quenchers.

We are going to make a Regular Sweet Southern Tea, Lemon/Mint Tea and Strawberry/Basil Tea.

1.)  Sweet Southern Tea-
Boil 6 cups of water in a glass pitcher add 8 red tea bags and pour hot over the tea bags.  Let the tea bags and water steep for 1 hour.  Now add 3 tablespoons of raw honey and let set at room temperature for 45 minutes.  Discard tea bags and Serve over ice or store in fridge.

2.)  Next, we are going to make a Lemon/Mint Tea.  Take 6 cups of water and boil it, place 8 green bags in a pitcher along with 1 lemon sliced and pour boiling water over it.  Steep the lemon and tea bags for 1 hour; remove the lemon and place 3 mint leaves in pitcher.  Serve tea on the rocks or store in refrigerator.

3.)   Finally, we are going to make a Strawberry/Basil Tea.  Boil 6 cups of water and pour on top of 7 black tea bags in a pitcher.  Place 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries in pitcher and steep for 1 hour at room temperature.  Discard the strawberries and stir in 1/3 cup of basil leaves and store in fridge.

~Enjoy~
