Mothers often feel they need to be perfect and balance everything in their life. Motherhood has extend to working outside or inside the home, raising and caring for their children, taking care of their homes, family and friends and often mothers feel they need to be perfect to gain love and acceptance. Mothers feel guilty if they say "No" to someone or something! Mothers strive for perfection and recognition from everyone around them including their children.
Mothers are human beings and are not perfect. Why do Mothers strive for perfection, where does this stem from? Did we learn this perfection from our mothers or is it something this is learned in society?
It is essential Mothers look at the big picture, what is the most important things, person, event, etc. that is important and then ask why is it important. Yes, the dishes need to be washed but, stop for a minute and just "Be Bad" forget the dishes and play with you child/children. Yes, you may have to go to the gym to work out but, stop and take a stroll outside with your husband.
Mothers have to stop daily to put life into perceptive and realize what is important before life passes us by. Mothers need to be bad! I am not saying, go rob a bank but, to stop take a breathe and enjoy the sunshine once in a while.
