These super cute DIY Felt Flowers Pins are easy, affordable and a perfect craft for anyone over 8 years old, in fact it was a hit with my Junior Girl Scout Troop however, they needed help with the glue gun.
Supplies Needed:
- 2 - 6 inch pieces of felt in your favorite color-one needs to be 1 1/2 inch thick in width & other 2 1/2 each thick
- 1 piece of felt shaped into a 2 inch circle
- straight pins
- scissors
- needle and thread in matching color
- hot glue gun and glue
- button in desire color and shape
- Pin backing
Fold the 2 pieces of felt in half and use the straight pins along the edge to secure. Next, thread the needle and sew a stitch along the edge.
Now gently tug the stitch to form a circle or u - shape.
Next, sew a tight stitch at the raw edge and secure. Unfold both flowers and lay flat.
Take your circle felt shape and place a dab of hot glue on the back. Now take circle and place on back of flower; place 2nd flower on top. Glue the back of the button and place on to of the flower.
Finally, glue the pin backing on the back; wait until all is dry and set. Enjoy!
