How to Make Roasted Brussel Sprouts | Cooking from Home; Easy Side Dish

This is dish is perfect for the Fall or any time of the year, I love making it especially for Thanksgiving however all times of year are great.  Also, did I mention Brussels Sprouts are great for Magnesium and Vitamin A and C  perfect for battling virus and bacteria infections.


Here is what you will need:
  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • 1 pound of Brussels sprouts cut into halves
  • Salt and pepper (season the Brussels sprouts)
  • Half of a Lemon to squeeze
  • Sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese
First, preheat oven to 400 degrees, place Brussels sprout, olive oil and salt and pepper in a bowl or large ziploc bag.

Give the Brussels sprouts a good mix.  On a cookie sheet spread the Brussels spouts evenly.  Roast Brussels Sprouts for 20 minutes.

Take half of one lemon and squeeze all over Brussels spouts and season with Parmesan cheese .

Cast Iron Skillet French Toast | Simple Breakfast Idea

Cooking at home and staying in can sometimes be hard.  Trust me this french toast breakfast with fresh berries is a perfect and makes a morning in a treat.

Ingredients 
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk 
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 drop of cinnamon essential oil
  • 8 tablespoons of butter
  • 8 slice of french bread
First, take your cast iron skillet and heat it over medium heat.  Next beat together; milk, OJ, vanilla, salt, cinnamon essential oil and eggs.  I love adding cinnamon essential oil to my french toast because it balances blood sugar, give immune support and combats germs and infections during flu season and the rise in coronavirus.


Now heat 1 tablespoon of butter in cast iron skillet; dip a slice of bread in the egg mixture and repeat until you arrange your skillet with the bread.

Cook french bread 3 minutes per side and try not to flip prematurely.

Repeat the process with all your bread slice until each side it golden brown.  Serve with fresh fruit, syrup and/or powder sugar.
