Nutcracker Suite Lip Balm | Homemade/Natural

Tis the season for sweet, sparkle and "The Nutcracker.  Christmas gifts and DIY’s do not have to be expensive our time consuming.  This lip balm is easy and affordable and anyone including yourself will love it!    I combine some of my favorite essential oils to create a smell that reminds me of the ballet "The Nutcracker".

~Ingredients~
  • 6 tsp. Beeswax
  • 6 tsp. Coconut Oil or shea butter
  • 3 tsp.Vitamin E Oil
  • 12 drops of Orange Essential Oil
  • 8 drops of Peppermint Essential Oil
  • 5 drops of Cinnamon Essential Oil
  • 6 Chap stick Tubes
  • old spoon
  • recycled Glass Jar such as a salsa jar.
  • Pot
  • Syringe
In a pot with water filled half way begin to bring it to a boil.  Add your glass jar inside the pot and let it warm.  Next, carefully add your Shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E  oil and begin to melt; stir occasionally with a spoon ( this spoon should be one that you do not care if melt beeswax hardens on).   Once your ingredients have melted add  your drops of essential oil and immediately add to you syringe.  Be mindful that this will harden quickly, if it does pop in microwave.  Now fill each tube and allowed it to dry this will take 2-3 hours.  Finally, decorate your chap stick tubes to your liking.
