Organizing and Decluttering a Small Closet | Girls Room Closet Organization

The best when to start any scary organization project is to start from the outside and work your way out.  I schedule one hour and drove into to my daughter room closet organization.  Before I began decluttering the closet I got my 4 bins out for -trash, donation, keep, and sell such as mending!  I worked my way from the top down and my daughter and I decided what 4 bins to place each item in the bin.

Questions I asked my daughter were-

1.)  Have you worn this in the last year,
2.)  Does this item have sentimental or monetary value.
3.)  Do  you love this item and why.

When putting items back into the closet I place the items we do not need often on top of the closet and clothes and items that are reached for often at the second and lower levels of the closet.  Finally, I gave the closet floor a good vacuum and wipe down with a all purpose spray.
