Decluttering the Master Closet and Make it Feel it Twice as Big!

I needed and decided to purge and declutter my master closet.  I did not go out and spend a bunch of money  on organization items and I do not have a large walk in closet so space was limited .  Yes, you can walk into my closet but there is not much room and because of this it needs to be orderly.

I remove everything from my closet starting from the top to the bottom.  As I was removing everything I decide what I want and what I want to donate.  If I love the item I kept, if I did not like the fit I donated and if not in good condition I tossed.

As I am putting things back into the closet I am giving everything a second look.  I try to keep only classic and timeless pieces.  I look at my clothing items to make sure it is still in style and in good condition as well.  If I was hesitated on if I wanted to keep or get rid of I decided if not worn in that season I would have no choice but to donate. 

When I store items back into my closet I made sure they things I reach for often are easy to reach.  Items that are not in season are store away or items that I do not wear as often.

I found and use this Dollar Tree baskets to store my flip flops for storage because we are in flip flop season.

I found this wicker basket at Walmart to store all my sweaters off season sweaters I store at the bottom of the basket and my seasonal on top. 

Finally, I found these 3 bins at Walmart as well and store up top of my closet for storing my hand bags, bags and off season shoes.
