Modern Christiananity In the World that I live in!

Where I am at and where I am going spiritually is definitely a work in progress.   For as long as I remember and been alive I have been raised in a structured, discipline lifestyle in how to practice Christianity.  As an young adult I revert back to what was comfortable never really truly understanding why or where I was going spirituality.  I felt lost and never really connecting nor understanding.  Somehow, through my difficult life I know God was inside me but, I needed more.  I knew to honor God with my mind, body, heart and soul.  However, I needed to know him better.


I have made my arguments, disagreement with God-I come from an dysfunctional Home, a Mother to a Son that battle Cancer, Lost love ones but, throughout my spiritual journey one thing that I know is clear -God is with me Always!  I have been TRUE proof of this!  Right Now, I thank my Lord, more than ever for a healthy son, a good and successful job, a husband that adores me, a church that includes me and ables me to use my talents, and most important a Gift that I hold dear being able to share my Talents, Love and Passion for people, my heart is filled with so much love and I know God intended for me to to Give, Help, Care, Listen, Love, Hope, Trust!  I try daily to build God around my life and will continue to grow.

This year I would like to take my Christianity a step forward and spend time knowing God by reading the bible daily even if is for 10 minutes.  I would like to listen to Christian books during my commute or doing busy work about Jesus and how he led.  I would like to slowly surround myself with people that share the same mindset as me and encourage many around me.  I hope, pray and have faith, 2016 I will be closer with God.
