This meal is so easy and perfect for busy nights of the week-we
grill summer, fall, winter and spring. This literally only took me 20
minutes to make after adding your favorite sides!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage
- 1 medium green pepper-sliced in strips
- 1 medium red pepper-sliced in strips
- 1 medium onion-cut into thin wedges
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fennel seed
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 4 sub buns, toasted
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook your sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about
15 minutes or till done. Next, add pepper, onions, garlic, fennel, and
water. Cover your skillet and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and
place sausage in sub bun. Now top with
vegetables and cheese.
