My 2015 New Resolutions and Goals

The last few days, I have been thinking about New Year's Resolutions and Goals for this upcoming year of 2015...such as what have I learned in years past and of course 2014, what I cherished and what do I want to change in 2015 to make my life more meaningful and fulfilled? I actually made many Resolutions/Goals in 2014 and found some that have been successful, others are a work in progress and many failed miserably. Even though, I have had failures somehow, I claim victory in my growth in learning through experiences. With my growth this year I decide I am not making Resolutions but, making Goals for simplicity, that I will be visited in the beginning of each month and reflected on throughout the whole year. My Goals may be small but, somehow I hope to obtain a result that will fulfil a long term goal which in turn will give me a feeling of success. On my blog I will track my progress and document many details on small/large goals, how I started, progress and concluded in my results. Some my find this to be a "yawn" but, I pray it will be inspiring and help you to understand what you truly want in life!
With that being said Here are my Goals, big and small:
My Financial Goals:
  • To continue to grow on finding Great deals and blogging or vlogging about it.  I am always looking for ways to cut back and feel satisfied in my needs and occasionally rewarding my family with a want.   I love all things pretty and elegant but, budgeting for it is hard.  Our income has decline a lot through the years and the price of living has not.  I discovered this past year that I want to buy natural, organic and whole foods and personal care products such as milk, eggs, make up and lotions.  I want to buy more organic and whole foods without breaking the bank, I will hope to find a budget that will work and try to save as much as I can, I will give our family a budge of $200 a week-this is for a family of 4.
  • Paying down debt and saving more. I want to be able to tackle a small bill, pay off balance and work my way up the ladder.  This past year I discovered and was shock to find out we are in more debt than ever.   Last year I wanted to be able to pay our truck loan off but this year I will be happy just to have credit card debt paid off-I have 3 left.   I would love to be able to next year to say, I am paying off the truck loan once and for all! Now, to accomplish this I feel the only way will be is finding ways to cut back- such as eating out less, stop buying impulsively, and planning ahead on all purchases such as birthdays, Christmas, clothing, etc- I hope this  will result in one nice family vacation which we saved and will be going to Disney, front and back door.
  • Budgeting and tracking all expenses better and making a detail spread sheet of all my expenditures. I feel this will help me to accomplish the above smaller goals better and have a GREAT understanding of where our money is going!  Last year I started this and I shocking discovered we were in more debt than I anticipated, if I am more conscience than I hope to be able to plan and budget for repainting my kitchen and ceiling and laundry room we need along with that nice family vacation.
Personal Goals:
  • Make more time for the amazing friends in my family in my life. I want to surround myself with inspiring and energizes me! Sometimes life gets the best of me, and I only react to what is in the here and now and somehow I have lost track of the most important people in my life. This may mean visits, or emailing, send small trinkets or letter in the mail, phone calls. If I cannot work a visit I would like to be able to reach out and just catch up and not by a text message.
  • My family are by BIG ITS in my life-I want my husband and children to feel as if they are more important than anyone else in the world!  I hope to have at least one date night a month and one family fun night a month such as an outing.
  • Crafting and photography are passions of mine, find time to do at least one project a month. I will have a complete list of 12 DIY projects posted soon the will give me an outline to what exactly I would like to do. I love Pinterest and let me tell you I keep saying "I am so doing that!-Well, guess what I will and I would document how I will do these project well keeping in budget. This is a AWESOME way for my to say, one day I will do it, now I have accountability.
  • Reading, is something I never do because by the time I have time it is time to hit the Hay, I would love to read at least one good book a month. I will have a complete list of what I will be reading in 2014.   Also, I spend a lot of time in the car and would like to listen to 6 audio books this year...cannot wait to share my list!
Health Goals:
  • Finding and sticking to a weekly workout routine-this is something I would like to have in a chart of form weekly, quarterly, and yearly...details to follow! I would like to document ways how I will make this happen and including my family as well! This one could be interesting!
  • Drinking more water and less caffeine and Alcohol.
  • Eating healthier, skip the process foods, incorporating more protein other the meat since I am a vegetarian, and don't forget the vegetables and fruit in my diet. I would like to post at least a weekly Blog entry on a meal following these healthy guidelines. I hear so much about meatless Monday's so why not, get on board.
Mommy Goals:
  • Spend more time with my children and husband without media such as reading, listening to music, talking and playing games. No one else just us at least once a month so we can talk and express who we are without any outside distraction. This goal must start out small since I do most of my work inside the home. but, somehow it will be nice to be Just a family! My children and husband have been helping to plan this one. I will be giving you are complete list soon, and hoping to follow up with Blog entries on how to make this affordable and meaningful, because my kiddos and hubby have pick some BIG ones.
  • Finding yummy recipe that my family love and planning out weekly menus. I was so proud of myself on this one this past year I planned all meals a month in advance and put all ingredients on SALE-yes, you heard me right! Now, to blog more about this however, I have decided to put this in a Vlog version.
  • Organizing, getting rid of things we no longer need to appreciate the things we love. I plan to spend 4 hours a month decluttering a room in the house, this will mean saying Good-Bye to non useful things in the attempt of getting one of one thing a day. I will be breaking these down in a daily task of 15 minutes over 4 days. This is a good one because especially to help paying down debt, by selling on popular sites such as Craigslist and E bay.
Business Goals:
  • Building our Fundraising Committee to help all performance dancers to be able to perform and compete more. I have started this year and hope to one day to have a committee to take over and do all the work-wouldn't that be nice.
  • Continue to still build my performance team. This past year we double our team now I would like it to grow by three more and have more opportunities than before such as competitions.
  • Pre-writing most of my blog entry's such as store deals on Monday, weekly meal post and drug store deals if any!  Tuesday, cooking tip or recipes, Wednesday cleaning tip or all natural cleaning recipes, Thursday work out/healthy tip and Saturday weekly tutorial post.  Finally, Sunday not much blogging but Family Day if I do!
Spiritual Goals:
  • Reading a bible more and reflecting more on it in a devotional journal.  I really would like to have a closer relationship with Jesus, just know and understanding the man better.
  • Attending and arriving to service on time every Sunday.
