Farmhouse Speed Cleaning | Summer Master Bedroom

Time seems to always slip by and spring cleaning along with it!  Summer is here and what better time to clean and organize the master bedroom.  My schedule is lighter in the Summer and what better opportunity to give the master bedroom a deep clean and organization.

• Wipe down all light fixtures and ceiling fans.  
• Dust all surfaces.
• Organize the master closet and dresser drawers.
• Wash sheets, change bedding to suit the season and make bed.

Extreme Cleaning the Laundry Room | Speed Cleaning the Laundry Room!

I have been speed cleaning a lot as many of you know that have been following me or awhile.  The summer is over, Fall is here and I seriously need to deep clean.  I like to deep clean areas of my home every season.  I gave myself an hour and powered through the laundry/mud room and part of my office! 

1.)  Clean and Disinfect the Dogs Kennels 36:59

2.) Clean and Disinfect the Dog Dishes

3.)  Clean and Shop Vac Garbage Can and Area. 29:57

4.)  Clean and Scrub wash tub, washer and dryer. 22:23

5.)  De-clutter and Dust Office Desk.  11:52

Spring Cleaning | Clean with Me!

Before I spring cleaning the whole house, I do a quick clean up or tidy up of the house.  When I do spring cleaning these are areas I do only quarterly and not weekly or once a month.

1.)  Light Fixtures, and Ceiling Fans~I use a bucket with warm soapy water and wipe away all dust, bugs,  or cob webs on all my ceiling fans and light fixtures in my home.  Also, I clean the ceiling and corners of cob webs or dirt.

2)  Clean all the garbage Cans in the home.  I have garbage cans in my office, bathrooms and of course in my kitchen.  I give each of these cans a deep cleaning with warm soapy water. 

3.)  Walls~  I wipe down all my walls with warm soap water removing all grime, dirt and crude.

4.)  Vents~ I remove all my vents and use a Shop - Vac to remove all dirt.  I clean the vents with warm soapy water and place them back where they belong.

5.)  Window~ This is a problem in my home I have 19 windows in my home.  To get a professional look I use a squeegee and a micro-fiber cloth and rub vertically.  I use Methods multi-purpose cleaner to clean the actual winder and warm soapy water to clean the bottom of the window to remove any grime.  I did have to use a Shop-Vac to remove any dirt, bugs, and crumbs.  I do clean my windows inside and out!
