How to "Beat the Winter Blues" using Essential Oils

If you are feeling the slump of winter, diffuse this blend to be uplifted and inspired to "Beat the Winter Blues!"

In your diffuser add:

8 drops of Orange
5 drops of Ylang Ylang
4 drops of Cederwood

Diffuse this oil blend for 4-6 hours a day to beat the winter slump and feel inspired about life!

How to Clean your Essential Oil Diffuser!

Cleaning your diffuser is essential when you use it on a regular bases.  A clean diffuser will keeps it working efficiently.

I simply clean my diffuser with the sponge that came with the diffuser or a q-tip will work just as well.  I dip the sponge into alcohol and clean the inside, lid and sensor. 

DIY “By the Fire” Room Spray

This DIY Room Spray is perfect to make and gift and give to any Host/Hostess.  Pair the spray with a Holiday Dish Towel and it will be perfect! 

~ Here is what you need~

·         Spray Bottle (I found the one picture at the Dollar Tree)

·         8 oz of distilled water

·         2 tablespoons of witch hazel

·         20 drop of orange essential oil

·         20 drops cinnamon essential oil

·         10 drops of clove essential oil

·         Funnel

·         Gift tag or labels (tape, scissors and/or gold or silver sharpie)

First, in your spray bottle place funnel over bottle and pour about 1 cup of distill water, witch hazel and all 3 oils.  Next, screw on nozzle and give a good shake to mix.  Now with a gift tag or label; label bottle with “By the Fire” and list 3 oils!

Allergy Relief Roller-On

Allergy Season is in Full Swing and of course my family cannot avoid it!  I love finding natural ways to treat allergies because they are affordable and pennies on the dollar of what I would pay for over the counter allergy medicine. 

Ingredients

·         Empty Roller Bottle

·         5 drops of lemon essential oil

·         5 drops lavender oil

·         5 drops peppermint oil

·         Fractionated coconut oil or any desire carrier oil

       

In your roller bottle: add each essential oil and fill with remaining fractionated coconut oil.  Shake and roll on throat, bottoms of feet, behind ears and down spine as needed
