Family Vacation or any vacation is to realize God has a plan and he has his own timeline.

Often we get frustrated when things do not go our way and on our timeline.  We have to understand God decides when it is best and at what time. 

Time is precious and becoming aware of time and how it is spent is crucial.  Daily we need to push away distractions and give undivided attention to someone or something that takes meaning in our lives.  Once we push away distraction it is amazing how much time we gain.

One thing I love about vacation it is a time to really get to know my family and understand them and how God design them.  I learn their passions, love, hates, wants and needs!

Next, daily try to Step away from your "to do list" and have a sunset moment and not just on vacation.  Grasp the moments that matter each day.  Life's sunset moments are wonderful and gratifying. 

Also, being on vacation it gives opportunities to submerge in passions and new adventures such as getting to know a baby kangaroo (joey)!

Finally, on vacation or even in my own town I love exploring and learning about live in the past.  Life in the past was slower and not face pace at all.
