Ingredients
- 2-4 pounds of boneless ham
- 1/2 can of ginger ale
- 1 orange
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
In a heavy duty zip top plastic bag add ginger ale, brown sugar mustard, cloves, cinnamon, salt and pepper. Give the bag a good mix to blend the ingredients. Now take the orange cut in half and squeeze into the bag and mix. Next, add the ham and give a good mix. Place the ham bag in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours and turn occasionally. Get out your pressure cooker and read the directions how to prepare to cook a ham. In pressure cooker add ham and juice; my pressure cooker cooks my ham in 20 minutes. Release your pressure and let rest for 15 minutes before cutting. Finally on a cutting board and cut against the grain.
