For many years I was intimated by a Pomegranate because I was unsure and did not know how it would taste or how to eat it fresh. I finally did finf out that Pomegranate's are delicious and loaded with antioxidants. Pomegranates are rich and tart but, very tasty however, beware when eating or cutting into one because they are so rich they can stain.
1.) Cut off the top of your Pomegranate.
2.) Score your Pomegranate in the divot about 4 times.
3.) In a large bowl of water break your Pomegranate up along the scored lines.
4.) Using your fingers remove the seeds.
5.) In a colander strain water, seeds and membrane.
Enjoy your Pomegranate as is, in a smoothie, or in a salad.
