Avocados are a fruit that is an excellent source of vitamins such as B6, Folic Acid and potassium. These vitamins help reduce stress, nervous system functioning and regulate your blood pressure.
Ingredients
- 3-4 rip avocados
- 1?4 cup of diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped and seeded
- 1/3 cup of chopped cilantro
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 lime
1. Cut your avocado in half and remove the pit; save the pit to place in middle of guacamole to preserve its color. 2. Scoop out the avocado pulp and place in a bowl and mash. 3. Add tomato, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, garlic and spices; stir. 4. Next, squeeze your lime into the guacamole and give a good mix. 5. Place avocado pit in middle and serve with tortilla chips.
