How to Roast Pumpkin Seeds-Pumpkie Pie, Spicy and Salted

My family and I love Halloween and all the comes with it especially making homemade pumpkin seeds.  Trust me this is as much fun as carving because we love coming up with new taste and favors on how to make our seeds scrumptious!  First, when carving you pumpkin separate about 2 cups of seeds into a bowl.  Next preheat your oven to 350 and rinse seed will in cold water,  be sure to rinse all the fibrous strings and pat dry.  Now you are ready to make some delicious seeds.  Here are the two we came up with-

Traditional Pumpkin Seeds:
In a large bowl add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of sea salt.  Next, add seeds and mix well!  Make sure all of seeds are coated and transfer to a baking sheet in a single layer.  Bake until crisp bat. 15 minutes.  Taste, add more salt if needed.

Spicy:
Do everything above but, instead of sea salt, use 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper. c

Pumpkin Pie Seeds:
In a large bowl add 4 tablespoons on melted butter, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoons ground allspice and a pinch of nutmeg, ground clove and salt.  Next, add seeds and coat, transfer to a baking sheet in a single layer.  Bake for 15 minutes.
