Delutter the Home Office | Organizing your Home Office

I believe the key to organizing or decluttering any room is deciding what you want in the room and how you want it organized.  Sit down and decide what you want in that room and how you want it organize I sketch and write this plan out in a note book.  Once I decided, I decide on what I need to make the organization happen, most of my organizing products I picked up from the Dollar Tree and Ikea.  The 5 areas in my office that I need are crafting such as sewing, glue, etc, photography, personal and business files, resources for work such as books and magazines and music/DVDs  for my classes.

1.)  First, area to tackle in my office closet I decide to make this my crafting closet because that is what I have the most.  I stored stickers, markers, paint, sequins, glue, tape, my sewing machine, fabric.

2.)  Next, area of business was organizing this Ikea 8 cube cabinet I decide to store photography items and anything else I need for my blog or YouTube.

3.)  Personal and Business Files are on the agenda next.  I like to have all my main files stored right beside me at my desk;  business in the front and personal in the back.  I store anything else that I need but, do not need handle on a weekly bases below this may include old tax returns.

4.)  Books and Magazines are something and love and never want to part with.  I went through and took a hard look and decide what I think I may use in the next year or so and then donated the rest.

5.)  Finally, music and DVDs are something I like to have hard copies of but, I again to a hard look and decide what is not serving me anymore and eventually I plan on putting all of it on a flash drive.

What are your areas that you have in your home office I love to know please comment below.
