How to Make Tasty Lima Beans!

Lima Beans are in season July through November, but you can find them frozen in many places.  When shopping and buying Lima Beans look for thick, shiny pods and are plump.

~~Ingredients~~
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen or fresh Lima beans
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juice
  • 1//4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley

Take bean and place in 2 cups of water into a pot and boil; cook beans for 5 minutes and drain.  Next, add butter, mustard, salt and pepper.  Take lemon and squeeze on to beans and top with parsley.  Yummy!
