Coconut Green Beans



Its summer and Green Beans are in season and you can pretty much get anywhere FRESH.  This Recipe to traditional Buttered Green Beans I approach to a yummier, healthier spin.  


Ingredients:
  • 1 pound of fresh or frozen green beans
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • Salt and pepper
First, trim ends of green beans.  Next, boil water in a sauce pan; add beans, cover and cook for 11 minutes. 
Drain beans add coconut oil and season with salt and pepper, TOSS give about 6 servings.
